The “Castelo de São Jorge” is a common location to learn about and appreciate the patrimony and the history of the city of Lisbon in its permanent exhibition, but also great to explore the remains of the Islamic influence during the XI century in the archaeological site, discover hidden views of the city in the dark chamber, walk through the charming parks, take a break at the Castle esplanade, admire the peacocks around it, join guided tours or simply get enchanted by the music, theatre, dance that are joyfully making the day for those who visit this outstanding monument in Lisbon.
Due to the new restrictions on the movement of people imposed by the Government due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we inform you that the Castle of S. Jorge on the coming weekends (28, 29 November and 5 and 6 December), as well as the holidays (1 and 8 December) will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We also inform you that on the 30th of November and 7th of December the timetable will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
